Mystic Lake Store

The Mystic Lake Store provides a number of services including free shuttle bus rides to and from the Mall of America to Mystic Lake Casino every day. Other services include reserving hotel rooms, selling concert tickets, signing up new Club Mystic members, and selling gift certificates and hotel packages. The store is also a full-fledged Ticketmaster outlet, selling tickets to concerts and events, including first day sales.

Sharing information is also a key responsibility for the well-trained staff. Information about the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, and about it’s Enterprises is readily available. Staff also share information about all Minnesota Tribes and about MIGA, the Minnesota Indian Gaming Association.

New Look, New Excitement, and Same Great Services at the Mystic Lake Store at Mall of America

A construction project to remodel the Mystic Lake Store at the Mall of America was completed in the fall of 2007, the first major renovation since the store opened May 23, 2001.

The store interior was demolished and rebuilt in a style to match some of the design elements found in the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel lobby. The store was repainted and decorated in an upscale fashion to reflect the art deco look of the Mystic Event Center. Materials used throughout the store reflect light and have a high tech finish.

Plasma screens and kiosks provide information and visuals for guests. One side of the store features information on all Minnesota tribes, as well as information about the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC). This cultural side also features museum quality glass display cases with rotating displays, the first of which is Pow Wow regalia. A 42-inch monitor offers video information about the SMSC, and two interactive kiosks provide information about the SMSC and all MN Tribes.

Regalia on Display The other side of the store features Mystic Lake Casino, including a retail display wall and a 42-inch plasma screen that presents video and information about events and activities taking place at Mystic Lake Casino. A unique, 10 foot tall tipi-like structure is also found on the casino side of the store. This multi-colored structure features a touch screen monitor for guest interaction, and a light and sound Interactive Kioskshows to attract attention.

A 50-inch plasma screen is located in the center of the store, directly behind the new counter, to provide guests with a variety of information about Mystic Lake Casino. The newly renovated store opened to the public during the first week of November 2007.
